Lately, on the Sirius station, I've liked the tune "In my dreams" by Dokken. Bought their CD and liked it. Every time Damn Yankees come on, they remind me of YOU guys but of course, I would request Replica to learn "Oh Sherrie" (bad spelling) since you can sing "Oh Lea" - ha! Hope to see you soon! Rock on!!! ;D

You can disregard my last requests as they aren't 80's tunes - oops! But yesterday I heard Jefferson Starship's tune "Jane". Great keyboard beginning - I'm a little biased - ha! :D And of course the Styx tune "Lorelei" is always good. (That's 70's, I know)Peace out! Glenda

Hey Glenda! Great song choices. "Jane" has come up more than once, as well as "Damn Yankees" tunes, specifically "High Enough". I think both ideas will have to be revisited again!! We are currently putting together a Medley of Styx tunes, not sure if "Lorelie" is in there though. I will check w/ Carl, as he is the one leading the charge on that. Dokken has surfaced a few times in talk, but nothing has stuck. Great tune though. Thanks a ton for the input. It really helps to hear from you guys. Hope to see real soon!!
Paul

Hi gang... I just had to write something after today's experience that fit this category in your message board. I heard this song twice today after not hearing it for maybe 10+ years. Well, remember that old band "Asia" ( I think it was right along there in the times of Toto popularity - the Kellman fave)? The song was "Only Time will Tell" - wow, brought back some golden memories and thought I would put this on your suggestion board. Maybe it's too "smoothy/boring" for some though. "You're leaving now, it's in your eyes, there's no disguising it" ... remember? Well, I thought it sounded great during the day right up there with the Toto tunes and April Wine days. Hope you're all feeling better after last weekend's drought attendance via message board reading. Replica needs the rockin' fans out there but ya know that we're still waiting in the Mad Town area for your return. That is the party town, ladies and gents! Later... Glenduh

Yes, yes, I do remember! Great band and song! "Asia" has been brought up a few times. The one that surfaces more than the others is "Heat of the Moment", also a great tune. "Only Time Will Tell" is more to my liking "personally". We have been hard at work putting "new" ideas on the board. Most recent addition is "Listen to the Music" by The Doobie Brothers. An awesome classic! We are considering tunes from "Supertramp", "Rush", "Doucette", "Foreigner", "Whitesnake" and many, many more. So stay tuned! ;D Decisions will be made very soon. Thanks so much for your input. It really is extremely helpful and very much appreciated. Hope to see you all very soon...p

Hey you're welcome!! Oh - wow- Supertramp!!! That would be great if you did something from them!! Went to see them in Mad Town, omg, over 25 yrs ago... did I say that?? Anyway they do have some tongue twisting tune that rhyme i.e. Logical song. With Carl's white violin spotted in Door Co. I waited to hear something like a little "Kansas" maybe? They did some complicated stuff rhythmically and so Styx would be good to try hopefully as they have many great tunes. Just not, Mr. Roboto, paleez Tomorrow night I'm trying the boboroke gig of singing w a band karaoke and this time I'd like to try Barracuda - need to practice lyrics lots b/4 trying it! I'll probably chicken out. Journey tunes are good fall back songs that crowds like to sing with so may give that a whirl. Have a great weekend! Paul, GREAT to hear from you so quickly! The pics of Sister Bay were interesting, Jamie was the star dancer and singer! Ok, when are you trying out for American Idol?? Miss y'all! G/Sheri from the South

Happy Friday- I just heard this old song yesterday and thought "Ohhhh, that's a good one Replica could do..." by the Doobies.... "China Grove". ? Love it! Glenda P.S. I didn't know it was Kellman's big 4-0 so we should have worn..... black arm bands.
