My vote would be "The Party's Over".........VERY under-rated tune... ;D
But what I'd REALLY like is to hear singerdude do "Suzanne"...
...if I were only '21' again...

Another great tune! My favorite track on the whole record is "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever". If I had to choose from "Raised", it would be that song. A killer ballad. Next would be "Suzanne".
To be perfectly honest, "Raised" is probably my favorite Journey album. The whole record, for the most part, is a step away from what was there "norm" @ the time. A different groove & feel throughout...just an awesome record.

Yesssss...'Raised' is my favorite. Despite the 'band' being in termoil over drums & bass...to me the best studio album to date. It is said that it was basically a Steve Perry record...but who knows. He was pretty much a control freak from what I've been told. But hey...control all you want if the end result is a recording like that! Great, mature pop rock tunes. I thought I was a minority thinking it was my favorite. Man, what a GREAT record!

Perry was given free reign on this one calling all the shots as "Producer". Canning Valory and Smith was something that he did "for that moment". He has said that if he could do it all over again, he wouldn't do it. I don't know, the end result would be much different, I think, w/ Valory & Smith. Randy Jackson did some pretty cool stuff layin' it down, know what I'm thayin? Just my opinion. Regardless, a fantastically awesome record!!
