Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay on this. Busy, busy, busy...anyway, here's the scoop.
As is always the case, Coins was "a-hoppin'"! We arrived early to complete set-up and sound check by 6pm. Mark had a special "3 pasta" bash planned for some folks and we didn't want to be bangin' away in the background. This also allowed us to enjoy this "pasta bash" as well and enjoy we did. Geno, you sure know how to do it up. Some of the best I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic! ;D Here's to ya....
As is the case everywhere, people "are" getting; getting "over" or "have been" sick. With our bud Mark, he was "getting" sick. We all felt bad for him because we all "have been" sick and know where he's headed. He lasted our first set and then went home. We all hope he is feeling much, much better. But as is always the case @ a Coins show, we toasted to Marks "well-being", his "being well", our "being well"....you get the picture. Everyone had a blast.
I want to say "Yo!" to some very special guests that partook in our "celebration of life!" From the Waukesha area Chris, Gayle, Scott and John; from the Chicago area Vanessa, Sarah and Spencer; and from the Madison area celebrating "birthdays" Oz, Flying Monkey and Glenda. I also want to high-five our bud Dennis for hangin' w/ us for the night. It's always a pleasure my friend. And to all the rest of our "Replicant" rockers, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" It was an absolute pleasure to share our brand of rock n' roll. Actually, the "only" kind of rock n' roll.....Classic Rock n' Roll! Know what I'm sayin'?
We hope to be back in the Kenosha area again in June. Until then, stay tuned to the official "replicalendar". We may invade your neck-of-the-woods sooner than you think! Until then....
