This year we decided to take a cruise with the cast of Let Me Be Frank productions, they are a theater troop from Green bay. Well let me tell you, that was the most fun a person could have without chemical assistance! This Carnival cruise was scheduled for 3 stops, first stop was the Nassau Bahamas ...absolutly gorgeous! Here we opted not to take an excursion, we just walked around the island and took in the sites on our own. Next stop was going to be Grand Caymans but one of my friends had a heart attack so we had to head back toward Florida so he could be airlifted off the ship not to worry tho he is doing fine and is all ready back to work (thank God) we did however end up stopping at Grand Cayman to drop off more ill passengers and a wedding party and since we were so late getting there we were not able to leave the ship and see the sites, this did not bother me to much because i have been there twice all ready ...passenger safety comes first! so now we are off to Ocho Rios Jamaica here we did the bamboo beach party were we sat and soaked up the sun and were treated to some rum punch (lemonade for me) island fruit and their own special recipe rice and chicken (not that good) now its about 11:30 am and my wife and daughter had there fill of rum punch so we decided to visit some of the shops while they could still walk! Let me tell ya the local cab drivers are a pain the .... we only had to walk 100 yards to the shops, but oh you don't want to go there mon let us take you to the good shops mon! we walked...LOL then on every corner, want to buy some weed its legal here mon!and no we didn't buy any! it might be legal there but its not legal here! Anyway we did our shopping and ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe this is were my wife found out just how powerful a little drink called a hurricane really is...its all booze what did she expect! so after a very wobbly walk back to the ship she decided to take a little nap...LOL We then were treated to a private show from the cast of Let me Be Frank Productions were they preformed the music from their upcoming show Crimson and Clover, this was their second show on the ship they did a show on the first night also, but they were both entertaining to say the least. so all in all we had a great time and everyone made it home with a great tan! If you get a chance to go on a cruise i highly recommend it, there were 150 people in our group, many i didn't know but cruising with a group is still more fun than going it alone. We sailed on the Carnival Liberty this is one of the biggest passenger ships on the ocean today it holds 3000 guests and almost as many crew, this ship is very well maintained, the food amazing and the show lounges and not to mention the shows are amazing we are talking muti million dollar productions here. But this ship was a little to big for me, we cruised twice before on much smaller ships and it didn't seem so crowded...dont get me wrong i had a great time and will cruise again but not as large a ship next time! And if you were wondering about next time...we are going on a 2 week cruise to Europe in June of 2009 ...wanna go with, give me a call!
