Well we've been looking forward to this show for a very long time. Night Ranger was one of my favorite bands in the '80s and why wouldn't they be.....two friggin unbelievable guitarists. Well as far as i can tell not much has changed. Oh, they had two substitutes playing.....a new guitarist taking Jeff Watsons place....he did a formidable job, and a new Keyboard player taking over for "fitz"! They played all the hits and then some! Even through in a song off there forth-coming cd "Hole in the Sun" It was a blistering tune...heavy guitars and great vocals...Night Ranger to the core. It was great seeing all my "hair" buddies out last night....although lots of the hair is now skin ......we were at the show with great friends! Rich and Jill....birthday boy Dave"rocks" and Jen......Ross and MC.....Paul and Victoria and Craig Hanna from Annex.......Chris Dame and Pat Hibbard....rocking Tommy......Mike Barrman....and the almost famous Dean Mitchell who was kind enough to get us some backstage passes....funny thing is we hardly used them.......the drinks were flowing and i was the DD so i had a car filled with raging drunks who couldn't keep there bladders in check.......too old now i guess. I'm sure they're all hating life today though. What a great way to spend a lazy Thursday night in the summer!!!

I was hating life for awhile.. but I am finally recovering.. I would have been all right if not for the extra stop at the Tap Haus. That bar was awesome. I would love to spend a whole evening in that place. The 80's videos were awesome.. Thanks again for the great birthday.. probably one of the best I have had in quite awhile. Great review of the show. I agree with everything. It was the first time I was in the Leach Ampitheatre in Oshkosh. The place is very impressive. I would have loved for Green Bay to have done something like that on the Fox river instead of build more Banks and retirement communities.
